DESCRIPTION
The ABC Type Fire Extinguisher is a versatile and highly effective fire safety device designed to extinguish Class A, B, and C fires. Class A fires involve ordinary combustible materials like wood, paper, and cloth; Class B fires involve flammable liquids such as gasoline, oil, and grease; Class C fires include energized electrical equipment. The extinguisher uses a dry chemical powder, typically monoammonium phosphate (MAP) based, which works by smothering the fire and chemically interrupting the combustion process. It is safe for use on electrical fires due to its non-conductive nature.
