DESCRIPTION
A Carbon Steel Slip-On Flange is a ring-shaped component that slides over the end of a pipe. Unlike a Weld-Neck flange, which has a long tapered hub, the Slip-On version has a low profile. It is secured to the pipe using two fillet welds—one on the outside (at the hub) and one on the inside (near the face).
