DESCRIPTION
Core Armoured Cable is a type of electrical cable designed with one or more insulated conductors (cores) enclosed within a protective armored layer. This armoring provides mechanical protection against physical damage, harsh environmental conditions, and rodent attacks, making the cable suitable for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure applications like power distribution and transmission.​

Insulation: XLPE or PVC insulation
Armoring: Galvanized steel wire (SWA) or aluminum wire (AWA)
Outer Sheath: PVC or HDPE for environmental protection
Voltage Rating: From 600/1000V to medium voltage grades up to 33kV 
Core Size: Ranges from 1.5 sq.mm to 1000 sq.mm or larger
Operating Temperature: Usually -15°C to 90°C
