DESCRIPTION

The DI Grooved Mechanical Tee is a two-piece "saddle" fitting used to create a 90-degree branch outlet on an existing pipe without the need for cutting or welding. After drilling a hole in the main pipe, the two halves of the housing are bolted around it. The branch outlet is grooved, making it compatible with any standard grooved coupling. This is the industry-standard solution for adding large branch lines in fire protection risers, HVAC chilled water systems, and industrial process lines.​
