DESCRIPTION
A Dye Penetrant Spray Test Kit is a three-component system used for non-destructive testing (NDT) to detect surface cracks, porosity, pinholes, and other discontinuities on metals and some non-metallic materials. The test kit usually includes:
- A Cleaner Spray to remove surface contaminants,
- A Red Dye Penetrant Spray that seeps into surface defects,
- A Developer Spray, which draws out the penetrant from defects, making them visible as bright red indications against a white background.
This kit allows for quick, visual detection of flaws without special equipment and is widely used during maintenance, quality control, welding, and fabrication in automotive, engineering, construction, and general metalworking industries.
