DESCRIPTION
A Flashback Arrestor for Oxygen Regulator is a critical safety device designed to prevent the backflow of gas and the propagation of flames (flashbacks) from the torch or hose back into the regulator, cylinder, or gas supply during oxy-fuel welding, cutting, or brazing operations. It is typically mounted directly on the outlet of the oxygen regulator or at the gas supply point. Flashback arrestors combine several safety elements—flame arrestor, non-return (check) valve, thermal/pressure cut-off—to ensure user and equipment protection.
