DESCRIPTION
A GI Flange ASTM A105 is a forged ring-shaped component designed to connect sections of pipe or join a pipe to a valve, pump, or vessel. The forging process provides a dense, uniform grain structure, which allows the flange to handle much higher pressures than standard "C Class" or plate-cut flanges.
