DESCRIPTION
The Holiday Detector (Model HD-10) is a digital instrument used for detecting pinholes, porosity, and flaws in insulated coatings applied to conductive substrates, such as pipelines, tanks, or structural steel. It is designed to ensure the integrity of protective coatings by applying a test voltage across the coating and visually or audibly indicating any discontinuities (holidays). The HD-10 model typically includes a built-in Jeep Meter for precise voltage monitoring and is supplied in a portable carry bag for field use. Upon detecting a defect, both visual (flashing indicator) and audio alarms are activated.
