DESCRIPTION
K2 Pickling & Passivation Paste is a thixotropic chemical preparation designed for cleaning and passivating stainless steel surfaces, especially after welding. It effectively removes weld burns, heat tint, rust, annealing colors, scale, and other contaminants, restoring the bright, corrosion-resistant surface of stainless steel. This product is favored in industries such as fabrication, piping, pharmaceutical, food processing, and chemical plant maintenance. The paste is applied directly onto weld seams and adjacent areas, then left to react before rinsing resulting in a passive, clean, and smooth stainless steel finish. Application of a passivation solution is essential after pickling for optimal corrosion resistance.

Procedure:
- Apply paste with a brush on the weld seams and surrounding areas
- Let it work for 30–45 minutes depending on scale thickness
- Scrub with a plastic bristle brush
- Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water
- After pickling, use a passivation solution and rinse with demineralized water
