DESCRIPTION
A Welding Face Shield with Head Gear is protective equipment designed for welders and metalworkers to provide full face and head protection during welding, grinding, and metal fabrication tasks. It consists of a high-impact resistant polycarbonate face shield attached to a sturdy and adjustable headgear or helmet assembly. The shield protects against sparks, flying debris, ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) radiation, and heat generated in welding operations. Many models feature a flip-up tinted window (commonly IR 11 shade) to allow easy inspection of the work without fully removing the shield.
