DESCRIPTION
A flashback arrestor for DA torch side is a compact, high-safety gas device fitted directly at the inlet of the blowpipe/torch in acetylene (DA) gas welding and cutting systems. Its primary role is to stop flames (flashbacks) and the reverse flow of gas from the torch back into hoses, regulators, and cylinders, preventing potentially catastrophic accidents. Torch-side arrestors serve as the last line of defense, catching flashbacks that originate at the torch before they enter the hose, maximizing user and equipment safety.
